10 New Restaurants

As part of the Day Zero Project that I am doing, my aim is to try 10 new restaurants. I always seem to go to the same places, but it's always good to try something new! Here's my growing lists... and reviews...

1. Coast to Coast

I went to Coast to Coast on a date and, to my surprise, had a really good time.
The atmosphere was great and the restaurant was decorated in an American diner style... and the food was great! They also had awesome cocktails!
I had the Cajun Melt Hot Wrap, with sweet potato fries, it was so yummy!
I'd definitely go back here again - their Fajitas look amazing!

2. Chiquito

My best friend, Jourdan, has been a massive fan of Chiquito's for a very long time and since first year of Uni she's been begging me to go with her! Well, I've finally been and she was right, it was delicious. I love mexican anyway, providing it's not toooo spicy, so this was a great place to go.
We shared Nachos, then I had the Spicy Chicken Enchiladas, and even had myself a pudding... A GOLDEN NUGGET CHEESECAKE! Think I'll have to learn to make this one myself...

3. WildWood

I had never even heard of WildWood before I went there, so I didn't know what to expect. I am quite fussy so it was quite hard for me to pick something to eat from here but I had a chicken burger and it was still really tasty! It had mayo and mozzarella in it, which made it a bit different from the usual chicken burger that you get everywhere else. I enjoyed it, but it was very far away from where I live and for this price, for the same thing, I'd rather just go to Frankie and Bennies! I did have the 'wildwood sundae' though, which was great - I'm a desserts girl!

4. The Rare Cow
{Photo Credit: Left @DisabledMabel. Right @Just4Donna}

We went to the Rare Cow for my mum's birthday as we all wanted something a bit different to usual. As I was a vegetarian for a while, and didn't really like meaty meats (I'm aware that sounds ridiculous) steak is something that I had never tried... until now.
and let me tell you something...
THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST MEALS I'VE EVER EATEN.
& I've eaten a lot of good meals.
I had an 8oz fillet steak, which was amazing. and macaroni cheese, which was amazing. and a chocolate fudge cake, which was amazing. It was all amazing.
Would definitely, definitely return.
and definitely, definitely recommend - as a treat though, it's slightly pricey.

5. The Cambridge Chop House

I went to The Cambridge Chop House with my family for my graduation meal. Despite the initial confusion when I realised I had booked the wrong Chop House, because Cambridge is weird and finds it necessary to have two, we were completely happy with our evening.
For starters I had soup, I never ever ever have soup... ever. But this soup was something else, butternut squash soup but it was so smooth it was beautiful.
This was actually the highlight of the whole meal for me.
The mains were all lovely too, we all had beautiful cuts of various meats; beef, lamb, veil, etc.
The only almost down-side was the pudding, I had the Cambridge Burnt Cream. It was almost like a creme bruleƩ although a creme bruleƩ somehow doesn't actually taste burnt like this did.
Other than that, and the fact it was quite pricey, we had a lovely evening here.
Would definitely visit again.
